Gear from Cinclare Sugar Mill Delivered to the West Baton Rouge Museum
This large gear came from West Baton Rouge Parish’s last remaining sugar mill, Cinclare. Cinclare is located next to the town of Brusly. It was once called Marengo Plantation. James H. A Generous Donation to the West Baton Rouge Historical Association
Dr. Chet Coles has donated a William IV period fire screen pole in memory of his father. The embroidered fire screen has been in the Coles family for generations.
