The Addis VFW Hall is owned and operated by West Baton Rouge Parish Parks & Recreation. The center is located in front of Myhand Park, offering a convenient and accessible event space.

All bookings are handled through the Parks & Recreation Office at the WBR Community Center.

Facility Amenities

  • Capacity: 252 guests (without tables and chairs); 126 guests (with tables & chairs).
  • Tables & Chairs: 30 round tables (60”), 8 rectangular tables (3’x6’), and approximately 180 vinyl, banquet-style chairs.
  • Commercial Kitchen: Fully equipped for catering or DIY food service.
  • Wet Bar with Ice Maker: Convenient beverage preparation area.
  • Sound System: Built-in system for audio needs.
  • Projector & Screen: Ideal for presentations, slideshows, and video playback.
  • Public WiFi: Complimentary WiFi access for guests.
  • Covered Drive-Thru Entrance: Easy guest drop-off and accessibility.
  • Covered Outdoor Cooking Area: Perfect for BBQs or outdoor food preparation.

Note: Amenities are provided at no extra charge but are not guaranteed as part of the rental contract.

Booking Guidelines

  • Resident Priority: Only West Baton Rouge Parish residents may reserve the center.
  • Proof of Residency Required: Must provide a driver’s license, voter registration card, or two current bills with the renter’s name and address.
  • Advance Wedding Reservations: Residents booking weddings can reserve up to one year in advance.

Rental Fees

  • Weekend Rental (Fri-Sun): $250 per day + $250 refundable deposit.
  • Weekday Rental (Mon-Thurs): $125 per day + $250 refundable deposit.
  • Wedding Bookings: $500 total (booking fee + deposit) due at the time of reservation.
  • Accepted Payments: Check, Money Order, or Credit/Debit Card (3% non-refundable convenience fee applies). NO CASH.
